(See also IFC EL-2 project) Washington 14th May 2003 : The result of the EL-1 project was released as an official part of IFC 2x2 The first software vendor (DDS) has allready a running implementation for export according to this new standard, and the result has been tested and works also for import in IFC 2x enabled applications such as AutoCad ADT, Allplan FT, DDS and ArchiCad. Stavanger 21st March 2003 : The review period is over and the beta version of the complete IFC 2x2 model is now ready. Oslo 24th Sep. 2002 : The data model for EL-1 is completed. We are now entering the review phase. In addition to the EL-1 model, extensions to the "representation domain" (geometric surfaces and light) has been suggested (for better light calculation possibilities).
